To instill the essence of Yoga practice from childhood owing to the innumerable health benefits that results, we celebrated Yoga Day on 21st June 2022 at Divine Child High School. Teacher Syrona and Teacher Anita led the students, stating the significance of the day and demonstrating different asanas.
Yoga exercises help us to maintain and reduce stress and tension in the physical body. It helps in attention, focus and concentration especially important for children. Yoga asanas build strength, flexibility and confidence. Regular practice of Yoga can help to lose weight, relieve stress, improve immunity and maintain a healthier life.

SCHOOL REOPENING FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-2023
As per the Department circular received, school for students from Std. I to X will reopen on Wednesday 15th June 2022.
Timings for the reopening day of school will be as follows:
Std. I to IV – 7:40 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Std. V to X – 7:40 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

On account of ‘Marathi Bhasha Savardhan’ in Divine Child High School, we celebrated Marathi Bhasha programmes during the month of January. Various competitions like Poster making, Essay writing and Hand writing were conducted.

The Advent of December fills the air with sweet pleasant sounds of Christmas carols. The melodious voices of the Divine Child children exuberantly proclaiming the joy of Christmas, reverberated in the air.
One of the most anticipated events in the school is the Christmas tableau. This year, the depiction of the Nativity story, included our God’s intervention in the history of today. The performance had a very important purpose – to remind us that Christmas is about JESUS CHRIST – our embodiment of ‘Hope and Joy’.
Christmas party is always looked forward to by the children. The visit of Santa Claus brought cheer and excitement to all present in the school – the old and the young!
Amidst the downsizing of all celebrations, the Divine family experienced the blessings and promise of the new born babe of Bethlehem, that He will bring us peace and stay by our side till the end of time.

The Divine Family bid farewell to yet another teacher in 2021.
Tr. Louella contributed 13 years to this school, teaching in the Pre-Primary Section. We express our genuine gratitude for nurturing the little children during those years. Her motherly affection guided them to adjust to this new way of life away from home. She has dedicatedly and patiently taught them inculcate good habits and value things. We thank her for always being optimistic and cheerful.
As we bid her goodbye, we wish her a well-deserved retirement and happiness for the future.
