Through the season on Advent, we wait eagerly for the coming of our Saviour Jesus Christ who is the embodiment of HOPE, LOVE, JOY and PEACE– the very virtues we are called to imbibe. Jesus is our Guiding Light – our Beacon of HOPE; our Master who LOVES us unconditionally; the reason for our JOY; our Prince of PEACE.
If we have prepared worthily for His coming, then we have every reason to rejoice and celebrate the season.
Here’s wishing all of you dear students and your families, a grace-filled, hopeful, loving, joyous and peaceful Christmas season.

We at Divine Child High School celebrated this day by making our children aware of the fundamental rights through presentations, pictures, videos, speeches and activities.

The students of Std. IX & X enjoyed a good healthy debate on 25th November 2020 at 9:00am. This housewise competition was judged by Tr. Violet. The competition was won by Green House with the Red House on a close Runners Up position. The topic for this year’s debate was – “Should schools be reopened after Diwali vacation in the midst of Covid pandemic?”
Though amidst a pandemic, students undoubtedly prepared well and enthusiastically participated. Their arguments were emphatic… armed themselves with relevant data and statistics.

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians
“This is the message we have heard from Him and proclaim to you, that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all” – (1 John 1:5)
‘Deepavali’ – the ‘festival of lights’ is here again! As glittering diyas and kandils adorn and illumine homes, they fill the hearts of men with happiness, laughter and contentment. It is a time for joyful celebration! An occasion to revive and rejuvenate relationships, connect with friends and acquaintances and celebrate with fun and enthusiasm.
This year’s ‘Deepavali’ has a special significance in our lives… since the past several months the world has been confronting a global shock with the COVID-19 pandemic. But despite these dark days, the ‘festival’ brings a ray of light – people responding with support, help and encouragement for each other and the world experiencing oneness in pain and struggle.
And this year, my dear students, for you it is a double occasion to rejoice because along with the celebration of the ‘festival of lights’, it is also a celebration of ‘You’… a celebration of innocence and purity. God reflects His light in and through you, dear children, and so find that inner light of yours and keep it shining steadily so that, no matter how little your light is, may you brightly sparkle the lives of people around you with your good acts of compassion and your kind words.
Hoping the light from these little ‘Deepavali’ lamps continue to brighten our lives by being the harbinger of inner peace, love and prosperity to all and harmony in the world.
May God bless us all. Wishing you and your family a very happy and prosperous Diwali!
Sr. Principal
