On the actual day Tuesday 25th June the assembly conducted revolved around creating awareness in the young minds about harmful effects of smoking / chewing tobacco.
In the course of the day, the students of Std. VIII along with their teachers stepped out of the school premises on a rally to the neighbouring vicinity to spread awareness on the hazards of tobacco. Marching on with vigour, displaying banners, they unreservedly shouted slogans ‘No Tobacco’ – ‘No Smoking’ and even interacted with few smokers along the road asking them to curb the habit.
We hope the effort and the message of the students, worked its meaning for many.
