On the morning of Thursday 15th August, the National flag was hoisted at 8am with the melodious singing of the national anthem. The chief guests on this auspicious day were the proud parents of Std. X student Krisha Shah, the all-Mumbai topper at the board exams. The patriotic singing competition followed and the school reverberated with sounds of patriotism as the students chanted songs of praise and love for our country reviving oneness and brotherhood among all present.

The green house celebrated the feast of St. Maria Goretti their patroness on Friday 5th July. At the assembly, a video on the life of the saint was screened which teaches us all, the virtues of forgiveness, love and purity. The message was passed on loud and clear that it takes a very strong person to forgive. The assembly created an atmosphere of peace and serenity.

We were barely into a month of the new academic year when we had to bid farewell to dear Tr. Meena who dedicatedly served this institution for 33 years.
In these retirement years, may God bless her with good health and happiness for her love and commitment towards the students.

GS Caltex India an enterprising organization found a unique way in celebrating our country’s 73rd independence anniversary. They distributed to Std. X students of our school, a paper seeded flag over the plastic ones generally used, so as to endorse eco- friendliness. The tri – colour can be pinned to our garment tomorrow on Independence Day and later be sowed into the soil to grow into a beautiful plant.
