Life is a journey and not a destination and at each stage in life there are ‘entry’ and ‘exit’ stations. Though leave taking is painful, it opens up potential for growth, for even a perfect egg must break for new life to begin…
Yesterday, the school community gathered to acknowledge and thank our teacher Mrs. Rajan who has contributed 34 years in this school to mother and educate young minds. With a sense of gratitude in our hearts, we bid her a warm farewell on her retirement and thank God for His many gifts that the Divine family has received through Tr. Rajan.

Jr. College, Higher Secondary, Secondary, Primary & Pre-Primary Sections:
Dear parents and guardians,
| Parents are the ultimate role models for children. Every word, movement and action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parent. – Bob Keeshan |
The portrait of a child’s life is usually an imagery of what they see or experience… and as parents, guardians, mentors, the onus of it all, falls on us. For… “it is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.” – Ann Landers. And so, a sincere prompting to all of us… children are keen observers and great imitators, so let US give THEM something worthwhile to observe and something great to imitate. We, the Divine Child family reverberate deep appreciation for your collaboration and assistance through this scholastic year.

Our country celebrated its 68th Republic Day on 26th January 2018.
Our school welcomed our chief guests, the parents of our school toppers for 2016-2017 and the National Flag was hoisted by them… we all then proudly sang the National Anthem. The toppers were felicitated and they too expressed their feelings about the country and school. The morning took on a patriotic move with speeches in English & Hindi and of course, patriotic singing too!
We as citizens, pride ourselves on being a democratic with a strong constitution to fall back on. We are honoured by magnetic leaders of the past who put us up on the map, as a democratic country.
Our ‘Preamble’ in the Constitution reads Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity for all citizens. So, let us read it as our gigantic responsibility and ensure playing our part in establishing these criteria in our society.

Thurs 25th January 2018 was celebrated as Traditional Day in the Pre-Primary Section. The children were a sight to behold, dressed in traditional attire. The different dress culture of India stood alive, bringing in a message of unity in diversity. The children also enjoyed sharing with each other, the food they brought.
It was a warm bonding day also for the staff of Divine Child High School who celebrated ‘Sharing Day’ as well!! The teachers brought from their homes, mouth-watering delicacies prepared by them. They all had a meal together in the school hall. This togetherness fostered affection and closeness to one another.
