Report in the prohibition on the use of Tobacco

On 20th August 2015 our school students were given information and instructions about the prohibition and use of tobacco products according to the ‘Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce Production, Supply and Distribution Act 2003 (34 of 2003)’.

The students were made aware that the use of Beedi, Cigarettes, Gutkha can cause cancer of lungs and throat. Banners are put up in the school campus to create an awareness of the harmful effects of the use of tobacco and tobacco products.

Independence Day 2015

We celebrated the 68th Independence Day with pomp, beginning with the hoisting of our
National Flag at 8.00am and speeches by students of Std. VII & VIII, in English, Hindi & Marathi. The
Chief Guests, Mr. Shankar & Dr. Mrs. Chitra Bargaje, parents our our toppers (2014-2015) inspired the
students with thought-provoking speeches. The toppers shared their memorable experiences as a student
in the school. The vote of thanks was given by our principal Sr. Lawrencea.

Inter-House Patriotic Singing Competition

The Inter-house Patriotic Singing Competition awakened among the crowds a sense of
loyalty for our nation. The participants put up their best performance. The judges for the competition
were Sr. Juliet and Ms. Glory. The occasion was graced by Sr. Principal and Sr. Elizabeth our primary
coordinator.

Annual Prize Distribution Day 2015

This day has evolved into an Educational extravagance , featuring students from the Primary
up to Junior college level. It believes in instilling qualities, concentration, confidence and time
management. The chief guest Mr. Angelo David graced this occasion along with his wife Mrs. Julie David.
Students were applauded for their excellent academic performance for the previous academic year.

Parents Day Celebration

“Parents Day Celebration” was held on 25th July, 2015 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Certificates were allotted to girls who had shown progress in their studies in the academic year 2014-2015. The Chief Guests for the day were our very own Vice-Presidents and Joint Secretaries. This was followed by an entertainment programme of dance and songs by primary and secondary students. An emotional and heart-touching musical “Save Girl Child” focusing on the importance of the female gender was put up by the secondary section which found the parents moved to tears.

The programme ended by a National Anthem.
