For admissions to the Jr. KG, the School will announce to the parents of selected children by SMS. You will be requested to make yourselves available before the Management, for interview-cum-documentation verification on Saturday 11th January 2025 as intimidated on your SMS.

If via SMS you are called for document verification and submission, please follow the instructions given below:-
• Both parents must accompany the child at the time of interview.
• Please bring along the original supporting documents as well as a xerox copy of the same.
• A copy of the printed form will also need to be submitted.
• One coloured passport size photo of the child.
• One small size family photo.
• Municipal Birth Certificate of the child in ENGLISH only. (Legal / official translation proof required, if not in English).
• Proof of Residence.
• Aadhar Card – of child (optional); of Mother and of Father.
• Ration Card of family / Telephone Bill / Electricity Bill / Passport.
• Baptism Certificate of the child – in case of Christians only.
• Parents Academic Qualification Certificate.
• Caste Certificate (in the child’s name) – optional
• Medical Certificate – only for disabled persons.
• Siblings school ID (if studying in this school).

The Annual K/P East Ward Level Science Exhibition 2024-2025 was a three-day extravaganza scheduled from Monday 9th December to Wednesday 11th December 2024, and the Department invited our Divine Child High School & Junior College to host it this year. The inaugural ceremony was a grand opening to the event with the school band display, the Lezim display and of course the welcoming and felicitating of our prestigious and respected Chief Guest Professor P. Soma, a renowned scientist from ISRO’s illustrious team.
We extended invitations to various schools and educational institutions to pay a visit with their staff and students. Many participative schools exhibited an impressive array of scientific displays and the visiting schools and guests were treated to innovative and exciting demonstrations and presentations. The presence of so many visiting faculty and students from different schools boosted the morale of the young participating students exhibiting their projects. They proudly educated and inspired the visitors in the marvels of science, enhancing their interest in the world of scientific technology.
Our school highlights to the exhibition were – a glimpse of futuristic technology “space elevator” and presentation of “ELON” our AI which were an absolute attraction; a well-accepted unique open space Science Book Library and the arrangement for a live online chat with a NASA scientist Mr. Mahendra Verma.
This significant event closed with an elaborate award ceremony for schools winning various Ward Level Competitions through the year.

On 28th August 2024, the Nature Club students ventured out on a field trip to visit Maharashtra Nature Park.
They had a field day, alright!… With the viewing of a video on flora and fauna of the campus and then setting out on a Nature Trail. The students gained clarity on various myths connected with snakes/butterflies/Peepal tree, etc. They also received information on various Sections such as Wooden area; Nakshatra Van; Butterfly; Rainwater Harvesting; Medicinal Plant; Fruit Tree; Vermi Compost Demonstration. It was truly an ideal place to study biodiversity and learn Nature Ethics in the relaxed atmosphere.

“Appreciation is the key in the life of a student”
The Annual Prize Distribution for the academic year 2023-2024 was held on 17th August 2024. It is a day marked to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of students who demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication and skill during the academic year 2023-2024. The achievers were applauded and presented with scholarship certificates.
The Principal Sr. Olivia Fernandes, presented the School Annual Report through a Power-Point Presentation. The School Magazine was released at the hands of the Chief Guest Dr. Payal Nandurkar. True to its meaning, the entertainment programme was thoroughly entertaining.

The Inter-House Folk Dance Competition held on 19th July 2024, showcased the talent of students who through their dance moves aimed in promoting the rich cultural heritage of our country. They performed with gusto displaying teamwork, artistic expression, coordination and synchronization. The competition was absolutely entertaining and a huge success, celebrating the beauty of cultural diversity.
