Career Guidance for STD X

On 19^th June, 2015, Mr. Dhondy was invited by Sr. Principal for a session on career guidance for the students of Std. X. Mr. Dhondy is a very successful practicing lawyer. He shared his own experience with the students and gave a lot of valuable advice with a touch of humour. It was an interactive, educative and entertaining session.

Debate Competition

A must awaited Debate Competition for Std V-VIII was held on 17^th July,2015 in the school hall. The two teams that qualified for the final were the Yellow House and the Blue House. The topic for the debate was the Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology on the Modern Generation. The Competition was judged by Tr. Volga and Tr. Jennifer Chavan on the following criteria – ability to refute, diction and style of presentation.

The Blue House won by a margin of one point. The Yellow House had the Second place. The judges gave then views and enlightened the audience about how Debates help us to be rational in our outlook.

Staff Orientation

An orientation programme was held for the staff on 15^th June, 2015 in the school hall. It was conducted by Mr. Adrian an experienced educational speaker. Reflective questions were put forth in a playful manner emphasizing on the behavior of the students, thus helping to build a one-to-one rapport with them. All the teachers actively participated in the interactive discussions and their own childhood experiences as students.

On the whole it was a refreshing experience for all.
