The Management and our Divine Child Sisters, celebrate their feast on Saturday 15th September 2018. Their patroness ‘Our Lady of Sorrows’ is their guiding light. Our Lady of Sorrows is the mother who ponders all the sorrows in her life, right there in her gentle, caring heart and yet gives abundant love to all her children.
We are blessed to have the Poor Sisters of Our Lady look after us in the same way, here at Divine Child. We pray that they continue to imitate the guiding ways of their patroness, in their encounter with others. We also pray that they are graced with strength and peace.
The Divine family of staff (teaching and non-teaching) and students wish you, dear Sisters a very happy feast.

It’s that time of the year, when the school bids farewell and good luck to the students of Std. X. For us at Divine Child High School, it was on Friday 8th February, that the staff and students till Std. IX wished the Std. X students well in life.
A solemn prayer service followed by an entertaining morning including the much looked forward to – Miss Divine Child Contest, all comprised the plan for the day. It was a day to remember for the Std. X students as they left the school portal.

Someone once quoted… ‘Being a teacher is the highest privilege’… and it rings so true.
The students of our Divine family once again praised and thanked God for the unique gift of teachers as their mentor, guide, counsellor, adviser, listener, mother, friend… and the list is endless!! Their love and appreciation was exhibited at the prayerful service and the programme thereafter.
The teachers had a memorable day, indeed!!

28th February was celebrated as ‘ Science Day’ in the school to commemorate the inventions by our Indian Scientist Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman.
The day’s assembly included a special Science Day pledge and video clippings on Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman’s work. The “Raman Effect” was a huge hit with the students.

… And so the adventure begins… AGAIN!!!
There was excitement in the air as the school opened for yet another academic year on Saturday 15th June. Making new friends… meeting old ones… sharing the adventures of the holidays! And the best part of it all was the new connect that mushroomed between the children and their new class teachers!… a bonding as “partners” for education.
Looking forward to an exhilarating year ahead!
