WOW!! A magical carpet ride indeed!! … And a whole new world it was!!… shimmering, shining, splendid!!

The RED LETTER DATES… 4^th & 5^th January 2018… The closing ceremonial days of the 60^th year of Divine Child High School saw a fabulously choreographed extravagant magical musical world that took the hearts of everyone present at Dinanath Mangeshkar Hall, soaring and freewheeling through an endless DIAMOND sky of dazzling and marvelous stars…

The entire audience was pleasantly astounded with the electrifying performances of the students of the Divine family… whether the beauties or beast, or the naughty Aladdin or cute dwarfs, or the ever humourous Hansa & Praful, or even the dashing young men especially the inspector and constables… they all stole the hearts of everyone who witnessed this enchanting real-life fairy tale musical.

We are proud to present our DIAMOND JUBILEE ANTHEM (Young at 60)

It’s fun when we all get together,

Houses Red, Blue, Green and Yellow.

To raise our voices yet again,

To that Institution that has made many lives brighter.

It’s 60 but it’s young as 6,

It’s roof and walls are sturdy, come and feel it.

Tiny feet walk the corridors,

Our hearts yearn to hear those sweet echoes.

Ch. So long live Divine Child, how tall Thee stand,

Thy glory we proclaim, Thy name so grand.

Every child be it girl or boy, knows what it takes,

To be a Divine Child and abounding in grace.

We’re created for the good of mankind,

‘Born for Others’, so our Motto says.

The seed of life in fullness is sowed from our KG days.

SSC now CBSE, Girls and now Boys!

Stitching, singing, cooking and dancing,

Can anyone guess what’s next?

Ch. So long live, Divine Child, how tall Thee stand……..

Trophies line the principal’s office,

Collected over 60 years.

Our girls shine bright over others,

It takes sweat and sacrifice not to mention tears

Teachers, Principals loving and strict,

Aunties, Uncles are humble and sweet.

With prefects, monitors there to chip in,

Our school has become the in thing.

Ch. So long live, Divine Child, how tall Thee stand…..

With gratitude and hearts filled with love,

A million prayers and thousand blessings.

Every child has this song on her lips,

Long live DCHS, 60’s just the beginning…

And as the Divine family wishes to place on record our gratitude for all those who selflessly gave time and talent to make this miracle happen, we desire to take you on a trip of visual pleasure in viewing the pictures of this magical world.

Sports Day

… And the scenario on the 25^th of November was witness to this…

The spectators on the stands observed a very healthy exhibition of sportsmanship as the students of Divine Child High School and Junior College participated in their Annual Sports Day. All events whether parade, track or display, portrayed a genuine concern for others, while striving hard to be the best – a smooth turn of every event… talk about CLASS!

And what do we say about our parents!!… the special event for them, brought a hilarious twist to the day! They are the super entertainers!! The daddies proved their strength and stamina at the tracks… but the mummies at play, were a wholesome lot! The scramble for the balloons was a perfect trick to awaken the child within them. Bacche to bacche, maa re maa!!

A thoroughly enjoyable morning at the Holy Family Grounds.

Season’s Greetings!

You are our valued ambassador… you went out with pomp and celebration… earning laurels for yourself and ascending the ladder of success… and the world knows where it all started!

It’s time now, to pamper yourself and to play the game “Remember me? Remember this? Remember that? Remember how? Remember when?”… And let the campus of Divine Child High School resound with laughter and brim with love and hugs of old time mates for old time sake!

Inviting you on… a walk down memory lane… within the portals of your beloved Alma mater… to an irresistibly memorable day, on a rendezvous with your special mentors… your teachers and ones with whom you’ve had the most frolicking history connect… your pals of yesteryears! Carve into the niches of your mind, an unforgettable escapade!

Let the evening of 6^th January 2018 clicking its time from 5.00pm onwards, mark as a red letter day for you… your Alma mater, in its Diamond Jubilee year, with immense pleasure warmly welcomes you back into its embrace to reminisce and amass memoirs to last a lifetime! And so, let the excitement of passing the word around, be your thought for the day!

Children’s Day

Childhood is about innocence and playfulness.It is about joy and freedom.

There is a child in every one of us… innocent; naughty; full of life!! And on this Children’s Day celebration, the teachers of our school portrayed that each of them is a child at heart!… so full of life and innocence!

The teachers conducted a prayerful assembly, lifting up to the Lord our children of the school and the children of the world. The video that was screened, transported us back to our childhood and the child within all of us. We also viewed an inspiring video on the life of the man responsible for Children’s Day… our own Chacha Nehru!
