Greetings… dear students, teachers, parents, guardians and well-wishers

It’s the end of another academic year! And we sing a song of gratefulness to our patron Divine Child who is always our guiding light. After being engulfed by the pandemic for the past couple of years, things were back to normal and the school had a fully functioning and productive academic year 2022-2023. The key issue of our educational institution is to build not just academically excelling individuals but humane, compassionate people who can live up to the challenges of the future and stand out in a crowd as a person ´Born for others’. And in attaining this, many have put their hands together, to the grind and made the year thriving for our school. And as we close the chapter of this academic year, gratitude is due to them.

Many thanks to our Management – The Congregation the Poor Sisters of Our Lady whose unreserved passion and fervour helped to further nurture our school into a brilliant place of learning for our children.

Dear teachers – Your indomitable commitment and steadfast loyalty to your vocation, coupled with your continuous urging, empowering and stimulating students to take a step forward and better themselves, all led to making this year a memorable one. Thank you for making this institution a sublime and delightful place to work and learn. And to the non-teaching and support staff, your devotion in everything you do is truly commendable and for that we are grateful. Especially remembering our retiring staff this year – Tr. Jacinta and Tr. Emilda, we wish you farewell and God’s abundant blessings.

Dear parents, guardians, well-wishers and PTA members – The year has been in many ways a successful one. Our ‘News’ portal on our website opens a window to our year that has been. We are sure that visiting the site has given you a bigger picture of the activities your children are involved in, during the school year. We hope it has given you a broader perspective and understanding of the happy place that is ‘Divine Child’. Many of you parents, guardians and well-wishers and of course our PTA members have contributed your time and collaborated with the school team in every successful endeavour during this year. We thank you for your kind partnership that enhanced every activity. And to all parents and guardians, thanks is due for offering unstinted support by standing in solidarity to all our plans, endeavours, decisions for the betterment of the school. You have met our needs and goals to provide a richer school experience for our students.

Dear students – Thank you for enjoying your year with us and giving us an opportunity to create memories with you. Congratulations on attaining all your academic achievements and personal triumphs – we are very proud of you and hope you set the bar higher for yourself, for the next academic year. Though it seems like you’re all done and happy to be away, we’re sure you’re going to miss school, your friends and teachers, as much as we’re going to miss you. And now, though it’s time to set aside backpacks, schooling tools, study books and spend some time relaxing, getting those wriggles out and rejuvenating, please remember to stay in touch with activities that will boost your personality – like reading good educative material, offering a helping hand, pursuing some hobbies, etc. You are an emissary of the school – live our school motto ´Born for others’ and let the world see the thoughtful, compassionate, caring person you are.

Looking back on the year that was, we have so much to be appreciative and rejoice about, and we praise and thank our patron Divine Child for His abundant blessings on all who are sheltered under the roof of this school. Wish you all a restful, peaceful and safe summer vacation with your family. We look forward to welcome you back to the Divine Family fold in the new academic year 2023-2024.

God bless you and your families.
