Vacation times are occasions to rejuvenate, revitalize, revive yourself and come back with renewed vigour and enthusiasm to achieve your goals and dreams. ‘Me’ time is important for self-assessment; personal prayer and the voice of your inner self will help channelize your path in the right direction. Spending time in practicing skills that will enhance your academics is also of vital importance – reading, writing, math – these will boost grades. Reaching out to others will enrich your morale and give you a good feeling as well. Caring for the elderly, sick and lonely, will bring on a realization that life is worth living. Spend quality time with your loved ones; let the light within you carry brightness and merriment into the lives of your family, friends and acquaintances around you.
This festive season, pledge for a pollution-free, eco-friendly Diwali… let the sizzling crackle of lit diya and candles, not fireworks and fumes, be the sound of music to your ears. Don’t forget to do your bit to show concern and love for Mother Nature – it will improve your personality. This vacation make it your call to join the campaign “Swachata Monitor – Let’s change”. Begin in your home – lift a helping hand to clean your living environment at home, in the vicinity around your home, in school, etc. Be a motivating force by informing and inviting your family, friends, neighbours, to join the chain for cleanliness and take this journey to bringing a positive effect in the society as you would like to see it.
Our planet needs us. Plant a sapling and gift yourself and your loved ones, a GREEN DIWALI celebration. May this joyous season of light, fill your homes with blessings, peace and love reign in your heart and home.
Thank you and God bless us all !!

The students of Std. IX & X enjoyed a good healthy debate on 25th November 2020 at 9:00am. This housewise competition was judged by Tr. Violet. The competition was won by Green House with the Red House on a close Runners Up position. The topic for this year’s debate was – “Should schools be reopened after Diwali vacation in the midst of Covid pandemic?”
Though amidst a pandemic, students undoubtedly prepared well and enthusiastically participated. Their arguments were emphatic… armed themselves with relevant data and statistics.

The festival of lights illumined the faces of the children at Divine Child High School on Thursday 20th October 2022 for the Diwali celebration, when all the little ones of Pre-Primary Section (Junior & Senior KG) dressed in their colourful best attire were all set to have a frolicking time! They excitedly celebrated ‘Sharing Day’ where all of them shared their Diwali goodies from home, with their friends in school. Along with their teachers, they brought a festive look to the classrooms and corridors with plenty of decorations – lanterns and diyas. They also enjoyed tapping their feet to music and dancing away in the school hall. An absolutely fun time was had by all.
On Friday 21st October, the primary and secondary too had a quiet and spiritual Diwali preparation, with an assembly of prayers, reflection on God’s word through depiction of a song, invoking God’s divine presence, peace and blessings for this festive occasion.

We at Divine Child High School celebrated traditional day on the 25th of January 2021.This celebration added sparkle and brightened our day in these difficult and trying times.
The children presented themselves in the online class in their colourful attire and eyecatching jewellery. They shared information and thereby enlightened the rest of us about their tradition and culture.
Their sharing made us reminisce and value the charm of our motherland and how beautifully we all co-exist along with its vast and diverse culture and traditions. Last but not the least it brought about the spirit of oneness – Unity in diversity.
