Divine Child High School & Junior College echoed the “Voice of the Earth” at their Annual Celebration on 9th & 11th December 2022.
All performances – skits, dances, songs, etc. revolved around the theme, sprucing it up with vibrant costumes and of course, enthusiasm and excitement. The two day extravaganza passed on a valuable message to the viewers about the beauty of God’s creation – life and nature! All in all, an entertaining weekend.

In the crib was found a baby, the angles sang of its Glory. The oxen, sheep and donkey stood, sleeping was the baby in hay n wood.
His parents close by Mary and Joe, treasured this moment and would never let go. For God had come in a baby so small, vulnerable to bring salvation to all.
From hatred to love was His mission ment to be, so from creator to creature the world was made to see. That night of Christmas was meant for all, they who stopped heard the call.
The message passed on was love, peace, joy and hope. You are His messenger you are the scope.
With Jesus in your heart born this day. No darkness shall ever turn it’s face your way. For from a tiny spark a fire shall flare, from the kid in the manger to your heart to dare.
Today is ‘Jawaharlal Nehru Jayanti’. His deep fondness for children gave him the endearing name of ‘Chacha Nehru’. And it is only apt that this day is set aside as a special day for children as ‘Children’s Day’. We celebrate them every day of our lives and especially today. Divine Child High School had a fun-filled day planned for the beautiful colourful flowers in our garden… our children. The school campus was dressed with the colourful attire of the Pre-Primary and Primary children.
The morning assembly conducted by the Primary Teachers gave us a solemn start to the day. The Secondary Teachers put up a thought-provoking skit with a powerful message, to alert students about the many social media temptations and dangers lurking around them. Then to follow, was an exciting magic show for all. Classroom games and quizzes added to the fun element of the day.
All in all, a happy day for all! HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY!
The festival of lights illumined the faces of the children at Divine Child High School on Thursday 20th October 2022 for the Diwali celebration, when all the little ones of Pre-Primary Section (Junior & Senior KG) dressed in their colourful best attire were all set to have a frolicking time! They excitedly celebrated ‘Sharing Day’ where all of them shared their Diwali goodies from home, with their friends in school. Along with their teachers, they brought a festive look to the classrooms and corridors with plenty of decorations – lanterns and diyas. They also enjoyed tapping their feet to music and dancing away in the school hall. An absolutely fun time was had by all.
On Friday 21st October, the primary and secondary too had a quiet and spiritual Diwali preparation, with an assembly of prayers, reflection on God’s word through depiction of a song, invoking God’s divine presence, peace and blessings for this festive occasion.
