On the occasion of Maharashtra Day on 1st May, Junior College organized a memorable celebration to commemorate the formation of the state of Maharashtra.
The celebration was attended by the chief guest, honorable dignitaries of the school, staff members and Junior College students. The programme included flag hoisting, singing of the national anthem, introduction and felicitation of the chief guest and valuable words of wisdom from him. Speeches were also delivered in English by a Junior College student and in Marathi by a CBSE student, each voicing the history and achievements of the State of Maharashtra. At the conclusion of the programme, the Supervisor of the Secondary section delivered the vote of thanks.
The celebration was an unforgettable and enriching experience. It not only instilled a sense of pride in our state but also provided us with a deeper understanding of Maharashtra’s history and culture.

The Annual K/P East Ward Level Science Exhibition 2024-2025 was a three-day extravaganza scheduled from Monday 9th December to Wednesday 11th December 2024, and the Department invited our Divine Child High School & Junior College to host it this year. The inaugural ceremony was a grand opening to the event with the school band display, the Lezim display and of course the welcoming and felicitating of our prestigious and respected Chief Guest Professor P. Soma, a renowned scientist from ISRO’s illustrious team.
We extended invitations to various schools and educational institutions to pay a visit with their staff and students. Many participative schools exhibited an impressive array of scientific displays and the visiting schools and guests were treated to innovative and exciting demonstrations and presentations. The presence of so many visiting faculty and students from different schools boosted the morale of the young participating students exhibiting their projects. They proudly educated and inspired the visitors in the marvels of science, enhancing their interest in the world of scientific technology.
Our school highlights to the exhibition were – a glimpse of futuristic technology “space elevator” and presentation of “ELON” our AI which were an absolute attraction; a well-accepted unique open space Science Book Library and the arrangement for a live online chat with a NASA scientist Mr. Mahendra Verma.
This significant event closed with an elaborate award ceremony for schools winning various Ward Level Competitions through the year.

The School Annual Day Celebration is a much-awaited event of the school calendar. The occasion was ceremonialized with the enchanting theme, ‘Rhythmic Resonance’. The students and teachers explored and put together rhythm through magical mesmerizing performances – dance, music, song, drama, and so much more.
The little bundles of joy so full of life took to the fast and slow tunes, and filled the atmosphere with their cuteness and energetic moves stepping, swaying and grooving to the rhythm of music. Through their performance, they passed on the message about how to accept life with all its fast and exhilarating, slow and soulful times. The meaningful skits and the Qawwali too, communicated life facts and lessons. And wow! The Student Council performance was smooth, sizzling, and irresistibly captivating – an explosion of moves to rhythmic beats!!
Truly, a delightful, pulsating, immersing and entertaining weekend for all.

As per the Department circular received, school for students from Std. I to X will reopen on Saturday 15th June 2024.
Timings for the reopening day of school will be as follows:
Std. I to IV – 7:40 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Std. V to X – 7:40 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

• Baptism Certificate of the child – in case of Christians only.
