On Tuesday 1st May 2018, the Divine family assembled in the school campus to celebrate!!
It was a heartwarming sight to behold staff, students and teachers present on the occasion of this specially marked day that comprised so many celebrations! – ‘May Day’; ‘International Workers’ Day’; ‘Labour Day’ – celebrating and honouring the achievement of the working classes and labourers; also on this day, we respect our dear St. Joseph the Worker who by his simple and dedicated life showed and taught us the dignity of labour. And for us in this state, ‘Maharashtra Diwas’ – a day that signifies and commemorates the formation of this Maharashtra State in 1960.
The programme conducted by the CBSE section of the school, entailed the hoisting of the National Flag by our Chief Guest Tr. Rajan, our retired respected teacher. This was followed by singing of the National Anthem; speeches in English & Marathi by the students and our Tr. Rajan and the address by our respected Sr. Principal.
The morning here at Divine Child premises was extra special with the inauguration of the solar panels for the school, thus endorsing that the staff and students of the school promote an Eco-friendly environment. Our school was also blessed with a new grotto with a bronze image of our patron ‘DIVINE CHILD’. We pray that our Infant Jesus continues to hold and shelter in His warm and loving embrace, our sisters, staff and students.
It was a morning well-spent!

“Somewhere along the way, we must learn that there is nothing greater than to do something for others.” – Martin Luther King Jr. The Divine Child family passionately live out our motto “Born for others”… for this is our passion in life and we are directed by this passion to the purpose of life.
Nelson Mandela so beautifully puts it… “History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children”. The Divine Child Educational Institution truly made that difference happen when we opened our gates and welcomed and embraced with open arms, many less privileged children into our campus on the morning of Friday 20th April 2018.
It was a fulfilling day for the staff and a fun-packed day for the deserving children from the nearby vicinity to unfold their package of talents and win galore of prizes. The day began with prayer after which they played games and re-discovered their innate skill in art, elocution, etc.; they enjoyed sumptuous snacks and meals cooked in-house and relished ice-cream too! At the close, they were all gifted hampers for their home.
There were happy little faces and hearts that left the campus late that afternoon…

Dear Parents
The Education Department has instructed schools to ensure that each student (from Std. I to Std. X) has a bank account opened in their name in any nationalized bank. We therefore request you to please do the needful immediately. The following details will have to be submitted to the school on the day of the result –
- The Bank Account Number & the IFSC Code of the bank.
This information has to be sent to the Education Department.

Life is a journey and not a destination and at each stage in life there are ‘entry’ and ‘exit’ stations. Though leave taking is painful, it opens up potential for growth, for even a perfect egg must break for new life to begin…
Yesterday, the school community gathered to acknowledge and thank our teacher Mrs. Rajan who has contributed 34 years in this school to mother and educate young minds. With a sense of gratitude in our hearts, we bid her a warm farewell on her retirement and thank God for His many gifts that the Divine family has received through Tr. Rajan.

Jr. College, Higher Secondary, Secondary, Primary & Pre-Primary Sections:
Dear parents and guardians,
| Parents are the ultimate role models for children. Every word, movement and action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parent. – Bob Keeshan |
The portrait of a child’s life is usually an imagery of what they see or experience… and as parents, guardians, mentors, the onus of it all, falls on us. For… “it is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.” – Ann Landers. And so, a sincere prompting to all of us… children are keen observers and great imitators, so let US give THEM something worthwhile to observe and something great to imitate. We, the Divine Child family reverberate deep appreciation for your collaboration and assistance through this scholastic year.
